If you’ve been finding this blog by typing Salted Lithium into a search engine it’s time to learn to bookmark

Everyday between four and eight
people find this blog by typing a variation of Salted Lithium into a search engine, this is just to let those people know that at the end of this week, May 8, this blog will no longer be available to search engines. So… bookmark it or lose me forever.

I’m not
sure what this will do to the people who have subscribed to Salted, I’m pretty sure every thing will be fine, but if there are any problems just let me know and I’ll do my best to figure something out.

About Gabriel...

...diagnosed with manic depression when I was nineteen, for the next 14-years I lived without treatment or a recovery plan. I've been homeless, one time I graduated college, I've won awards for reporting on Internet privacy issues, and a weekly humour column. In 2002 I finally hit bottom and found help. It's now 2022, and I have an 8-year old son, and a 12-year old son... I’m usually about six feet tall, and I'm pretty sure I screwed up my book deal. I mostly blog at saltedlithium.com....

I use an RSS feed…I kinda doubt that will work…aren’t they indexed by search engines???

You’re screwing with how I like to do things!! I don’t use bookmarks anymore.

    Why are you doing this?

    ok I’m obedient. you’re bookmarked 🙂

I have you bookmarked but I do use a search engine when I am somewhere else, like at my parents house. Guess i’ll just have to go through saltedlithium withdrawal when I visit them from now on!

the url is pretty easy to remember actually…just take a look at it…the name of the blog plus dot wordpress dot com…general rule for most wordpress blogs.

I’m not sure how this is going to work with the Google Readers and the Blog Lines and the others, but what I’m doing won’t effect the RSS feeds we put in our WordPress sidebars. And it definitely won’t have an effect on blogrolls.

That’s funny Mark, I actually get most of my referral traffic from Furious Seasons…

I get most of my referral traffic from FS too…it’s the king of blogs in our little circle…
