Sorry about annoying you over the past few days.
When I made Salted Lithium ‘private’ four years ago, I had put a bunch of posts into Draft Mode. I don’t know why. It seems pretty silly in hindsight. So, when I un-Drafted and updated them this week, WordPress sent out notifications to all subscribers as if they were being published today.
I’m done un-Drafting, so it won’t happen again.
…weirdly most of the stats for reading the new/old posts came from China and Singapore. I’m not sure what that means, but it feels not a little ominous.
Anyway… again, sorry about the mass email.

Aha, so it wasn’t just me being picked on by WordPress! Good to know.
Sorry about that. No, you’re not alone… it was you and a few hundred other people wonderful enough to subscribe to my wee blog. I think I updated / re-published about fifty posts, so that’s thousands and thousands of emails shooting across the Interwebs… I’m surprised I didn’t accidentally take the whole thing down. Live and learn. It won’t happen again.
I am responsible for the stats from Singapore! Apologies if it came across as creepy. I find your posts to be fascinating and lucid and also helpful in understanding my friends who have mental health issues. Looking forward to reading more of your writing.

Hi. Welcome to my blog, it’s nice to meet you… not creepy, just a tiny bit ominous. A lot of the drafts that I updated and re-published were about my father and the bizarre Maoist / Catholic cult he started. So there’s a lot of ‘Mao this’ and ‘Mao that’ in there.
